On April 25, the Class of 2025 convened for a day full of fun. They celebrated their accomplishments at Senior Awards, reclaimed childlike energy to play at the Senior Picnic and guffawed as Comedy Hypnotist Joseph Roberts took control of their peers’ subconscious minds.

Seniors gathered at 8:30am to celebrate their peers during Senior Awards. Seth Vann and Caroline Draper were crowned Mr. and Mrs. OHS, respectively.

The picnic began with the classic class photo.

During the picnic on the football field, seniors ate lunch, played yard games and relished in one of the last experiences they would have with their class.

Many seniors enjoyed the weapons that LARP donated for the afternoon.

After the picnic, Comedy Hypnotist Joseph Roberts led students in a hypnosis that left the crowd roaring with laughter. Under his spell, students experienced extreme temperatures, rode sky-scraping roller coasters, performed as several celebrities and competed in Martian rap battles.

Roberts focused many of his antics on senior Noah Reynolds. After tying for first in a Martian rap battle, Reynolds graced the stage with an enthusiastic performance of “Hound Dog” as Elvis Presley. Following the show, Roberts kept Reynolds entranced for a few extra minutes, convincing him that he was Kendrick Lamar. The senior class came together once more to hound Reynolds/Lamar for autographs and selfies.
