Teen jobs in Owasso

By Hannah Stephens

Finding your first job in high school can be difficult and daunting. More than deciding whether or not to work, it’s hard to determine what kind of job works for you.  Can you fit the hours into your schedule? Does it pay well? Will you like your coworkers? Luckily, Owasso has many work opportunities, no matter your schedule.

If you’re a morning person who only wants to work weekends or holidays, Daylight Donuts is the place to work. Teens working there work the weekend from 5 AM-12 PM with a pay of $8.50/hour. To apply, just grab an application and turn it in. Some perks of working here include employee discounts on drinks and free donuts. Positions include working the register and cooking donuts.

Junior Saint Sophie Vang has been working for the company for about five months.

She states, “It is a good job because it helps for future jobs if you want to work in the kitchen or customer service.”
