Apply to our Class
This course is for students interested in writing. Students will be exposed to all aspects of writing, while being challenged to exercise their creativity through character development, research, and fact checking. Students will also contribute to the production of the school newspaper, The Rampage, and learn about the various facets of journalism. Using technology, students will also learn techniques and strategies geared toward layout and design.
Application Process - To enroll in Journalism and Creative writing for the Fall school year, students must write a one paragraph explanation about what they hope to learn in the class, along with producing an original article relating to anything in the Owasso school district. Applications must be hand delivered to Mr. DeBella’s room, E17. Application due April 15th.
